We do not have a "cattery." We have our cats in our home as
our pets. We do not have "cattery tours," but we are happy to
accommodate anyone who wants to visit our kittens.
We charge $25 for this visit, which is non-refundable but will be applied
to the purchase price of a Chimney House kitten. This visitation fee helps
us secure a commitment from those scheduling appointments for a visit.
Allergy tests involve snuggling with a cat or kitten for 30 minutes in a
neutral territory... usually the tester's car. This way, our other cats, dogs
and other household allergens will not interfere with a realistic test. We
then ask the tester to wear the same clothes for the next eight hours.
It is only after this time that the allergy test will be considered successful.
Visits are limited to 30 minutes in consideration for the cats and kittens
participating, and to enable us to schedule multiple visits on the same day.
